I have one specific request for the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Once an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is up and running, you can be deluged with information coming in via email, phone calls and radio messages. I’d like an AI program to screen all the above and using the Essential Elements of Information (EEI) find the information that has direct relevance to the disaster response. Even better, I’d like AI to route that information to the appropriate department or operational entity of the EOC, or perhaps, also a departmental EOC that sometimes exists in some jurisdictions.

This is becoming very possible in the near future!
