emi reopens

I guess this “old dog” has not kept up with the times. I now see that EMI is now “National Disaster and Emergency Management University (NDEMU) in Emmitsburg, Md.” Am I the last to know this?

See this brief announcement, FEMA Reopens National Fire Academy and Other National Schoolhouses

What is not clear is what courses are still being offered “in residence” and what changes have been made to course syllabuses. I would guess that climate change has been expunged from all course materials along with any mention of dealing with equity in disasters.

I wonder if those changes will be celebrated with a book burning?
