I think this is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to investigations at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). See this article, House Democrats Are Investigating FEMA Contractor Tied to Corey Lewandowski

The departure of Kristi Noem as DHS Secretary has opened the door to these investigations. Much more will be exposed in the coming weeks and months.

On another note, disaster funding to states and local governments if now flowing. If I remember it correctly, the new DHS Secretary Mullin will only review contracts of $20M or more in value. That opened the floodgates for disaster funds to be shoved out the door.

And disaster declarations that were evidently being held up by DHS/FEMA are being processed in a more timely manner.

We can’t say “happy days are here again” but there is some return to normalcy.
