fema report to be released: 17 December--and you can attend!

We finally have a date and time, Federal Emergency Management Agency Review Council: Notice of Meeting  This is the Federal Register’s official announcement of the meeting.

And you can attend! See the instructions for the general public to attend virtually, those are in the Supplementary Information section of the announcement.

To save you time and effort, here’s the information: “To receive the link please email Patrick Powers, Designated Federal Officer of the President's Federal Emergency Management Agency Review Council at

FEMAreviewcouncil@hq.dhs.gov Members of the public who have registered to attend will be provided the virtual link.”  You have to provide your full name and email address.

I’ve already registered and you get an automatic reply providing the link to attend.

I would expect that there will be some leaks on the report coming out soon—so, standby for news on that front. One “leak” has already said that the report was taken by the Department of Homeland Security and whittled down from over 100 pages to twenty. We’ll just have to see what was actually produced.
