drones, drones and more drones

Following reports that the FBI disrupted an alleged plot involving explosive-laden drones targeting the UFC event at the White House, there are questions about how prepared the United States is to defend public gatherings against increasingly sophisticated drone threats.

You can bet that everyone in the business of public safety is beginning to worry a bit about drones being used as a weapon. You can do all the “people screening” you want to get into a stadium, or county fair, but a drone flying over the stadium wall is the new pipe bomb waiting to explode.

How about just a drone with a “cherry bomb” firecracker on it? Not a weapon of destruction, but one for “disruption” for sure. Panic would ensue in a crowd if something like that happened in a stadium.

Forewarned is forearmed. Get ready because it is going to happen soon at a street fair, rodeo, concert, outdoor play, political rally, sporting event, large or small, etc.
