What went wrong? When did the wheels come off the bus—meaning, why was the final report by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) delayed by having the “final meeting” cancelled?

The FEMA reorg is small potatoes when compared to blowing up small boats in the Caribbean or seizing oil tankers. I’m thinking since this is not a top priority, we won’t have a resolution for a number of weeks. Will they recall the members of the FEMA Review Council for a final meeting? Or, will they just issue the report, with modifications made by the Department of Homeland Security, and it sounds like changes made by the White House.

It doesn’t sound like the membership of the council had been given the opportunity to see the final report that they were supposed to vote and approve—before the meeting that was cancelled.
